Beyond the Bike: Anne-Caroline Chausson
Ask anyone entrenched in the gravity side of mountain biking who holds the title for the Greatest of All Time, and you may hear a couple of familiar names: Peaty, Vouilloz, or Minnaar, but one will likely come up over and over again. Anne-Caroline Chausson holds the G.O.A.T. torch with 19 World Championship titles and the first ever women’s Olympic gold in BMX. While there are many great riders, and other world champions, there are very few legends, and only one Anne-Caroline.

Sometimes the best part of your ride happens in the last hour of your day. Too tired to go big, but so dialed into your bike and the trail that you just flow. Even for the best, most competitive riders in the world there are times like this. We captured Brian Lopes, Anne Carolyn Chausson and Andrew Whiteford doing just this, carving some nice turns at the end of a long day.
This is the first video in a series. We recently followed the same three athletes for a week in Southern California, filming and shooting along the way.
