Dan Atherton's boundary-pushing new track is ready and the colossal Jeep Renegade step-up is in place. On September 18th, the world's best MTB riders descend on the hills of Mid Wales for the toughest Red Bull Hardline yet.

2015 Red Bull Hardline Race

Hard by name, hard by nature, Red Bull Hardline isn't an event for the faint-hearted. Over four days of practice and racing, the insanely difficult downhill course claimed several victims, and by race day, only eight riders were left standing to race against the clock.

2014 Red Bull Hardline

Hardline was built to push the world's best riders to their limits - see how they fared on race day.

Dan Atherton wanted to build a course that pushed the world's best to their limits. So, in a mere six weeks, he took a piece of Welsh hillside, a tonne of man-hours and built one of the most demanding racetracks ever seen.

Cue, gnarly rock gardens, giant slab rolls, tight woods sections, technical natural features and a giant man-made road gap. Add nine of the world's best downhillers and you have the very first Hardline race.
