THE SYNDICATE 2016 - Episode 1 - Lourdes

We're back with Season 2 of THE SYNDICATE, kicking off with proceedings at the opening World Cup round out in Lourdes France, but not before heading out to Portugal to take a look at what goes into preparing both bike and body for the season ahead.

The first World Cup of 2016 is in the books, and it was a wonderfully muddy, messy way to kick off the season! Peaty got some World Cup points, Minnar finished 15th, and Ratboy pulled off a top-10 finish, with a 6th place result. Lourdes is quickly establishing itself as a first class venue with a rough, challenging track.  Conditions were wet all week, but the sun was shining on Sunday’s finals.  With spectators lining the course, the hills were alive with the sounds of chain saws, bells, and horns, and could be heard miles away. In the final, Loic Bruni was two seconds faster than race leader Aaron Gwin when in the last sector he lost control of the bike and dashed his hopes of a win in his home country. The Syndicate fellows stayed more or less upright in the slop, and are tuned up for the next stop in Cairns. THE SYNDICATE - Episode 7 - Val di Sole

The final World Cup weekend of the year delivered some of the most exciting racing on one of the toughest tracks. The last race of the season is always a big one, but with a chance to take the overall, Greg Minnaar was pushing it to the limit —and maybe just a touch over—with a crash that took him out of contention for the day, but he still managed fourth in the series. Josh, meanwhile, put down a solid run on the brutal track, and pulled off a fifth place on the day, and in the series. Watch this week's episode to see Peaty's return, Greg's suspension tuning, and Ratty's epic battle with arm pump!
