The limited edition Trail Pistol Race SL uses a super-light build kit optimized for big days in the saddle. In order to maximize acceleration and pedaling performance, the Race SL drops 3 pounds off our top-shelf Race build. Plaid is the fastest color and the Race SL will encourage you to reach ludicrous speed going up, down, and over any mountains in your path. There are only enough components and decals to build 25 of these so we hope your credit card quick draw is as fast as your new bike.

After a mentally and physically demanding day on the bike, you can trust the Trail Pistol geometry to keep the rubber side down as you dig deep to push those final pedal strokes back to the trailhead.

Riders can choose between Crush Mode and Plush Mode for the suspension platform that’s ideal for your local terrain and riding style. Crush Mode is more poppy and supportive, while Plush Mode is smoother in the rough—turning rock gardens into a fine velour carpet.

Guerrilla Gravity Announces The Gnarvana A Trail Bike That Knows No Limits

 

Ripping down the steepest, chunkiest, fall-line trails is a zen-like experience, simultaneously losing all sense of self and becoming one with your bike. This flow state requires the right tool for the job, a bike that knows no limits, instilling a daredevil’s confidence and monk’s focus. Chasing this feeling is what inspired Guerrilla Gravity (GG) to develop the Gnarvana. 

The Denver, Colorado manufacturer’s latest development pairs 160 mm of Freedom Linkage-controlled travel with 29” wheels to create a bike fast enough to outrun your professional distractions and release yourself from terrestrial bonds. Come as you are and ascend to the next level with Gnarvana. 

The main frame of Gnarvana is built using Revved™ Carbon Technology, the evolution of traditional carbon fiber. Just as you will be reborn on your path to Gnarvana, Revved is carbon fiber born anew with advanced resin chemistry that is both impact-resistant and environmentally-conscious, because your bike should be tough enough to withstand a drop from the unspoilt heavens.

When designing the Modular Frame Platform, Guerrilla Gravity was excited at the possibilities of using Seastay Tuning Kits to change the way its riders experience a new bike day. Rather than purchasing several bikes for each discipline, their designers envisioned a future where your bike choice is no longer a compromise but a new way to adapt to your terrain and riding requirements. This flexibility allows riders to swap between 120, 145, and 160 mm 29” wheel platforms depending on the locale. If big achievements on little wheels is more your style, there are also 130-140, and 155-165 mm variants for 27.5 fans. Gnarvana is your own personal utopia, ready to deploy at a moment’s notice.

So, if you already own a Modular Frame Platform equipped GG bike, you can use a Gnarvana Seatstay Tuning Kit (sold individually) to convert your bike into the latest in trail-taming technology. Depending on your existing bike configuration and desired change in ride quality, shocks, forks, and wheelsets are available with Seatstay Tuning Kit orders to complete your conversion.

How does The Smash stack up to Gnarvana? The Gnarvana’s chainstay length has been stretched out to 450 mm, balancing the rider between the wheels so they can focus on what’s ahead of them. The extra stability from the lengthened chainstays, 15 mm more squish out back and 20 mm more of rock-smashing forgiveness up front (adding up to 170 mm fork travel) combine to erase any bad decisions made in a former life. Additionally, its 63.7 degree head tube angle (compared to The Smash’s 64.7 degrees) gives riders additional control to process trail inputs and respond with the best path to enlightenment.

Gnarvana is available in a power trio of customizable build kits plus a frameset option starting at $2195 for those wishing to build their own bike. GG Modular Frame Platform owners can convert their frames for $445 using Gnarvana Seatstay Tuning Kits (add the 230 x 65 shock of your choice and get a discount).

Guerrilla Gravity Is Going Carbon in 2019!!!

Here at Guerrilla Gravity, we dream big. Driven by our mission to “make mountain biking more awesome,” we’re always looking for better ways to do things. We've always stood true to our values of efficiently building tough, easy to work on, and fun to ride bikes. Our testing and personal ride preferences lent themselves to the qualities of steel and aluminum while keeping our eye on material advancements being adopted by the bike industry, notably carbon fiber.

While incremental advancements were made, carbon fiber still had many pitfalls like cost, durability, and environmental impact. So we got to thinking… how can we design and manufacture a mountain bike that blends the best qualities of aluminum and steel with the best qualities of carbon?

The requirements

This question led us on an arduous three-year journey, guided by three key requirements:

1. Tough. After all, what good is a bike you’re afraid to shred on?
2. Efficient. This sport is expensive enough as it is, and we don’t want to contribute to pricing riders out of badass bikes.
3. Made in America. Because it matters.

 

These efforts culminated in the development of our proprietary Revved™ Carbon Technology. Revved combines the next generation of frame material and our new, patent-pending manufacturing process that is all made right here in the USA, exclusively by Guerrilla Gravity.

We never thought this was going to be easy. Building a production line from scratch without a rule book has been a monumental challenge filled with late nights, precise planning, and a lot of good-old-fashioned grit. 

In the amount of time it’s taken us to develop this material and manufacturing process, we could have contracted an overseas factory to cut molds, make prototypes, and build production-ready bikes in the traditional carbon fiber methods. But that’s not how we roll at Guerrilla Gravity. We found a better way to make bikes and got to work.

In a world where new model years only see nominal gains accompanied by rising costs, Revved will kick off a revolution of making mountain biking more awesome for more people. To start, we have some good news: 2018 builds give you more shred for your buck! We’ve been bustin’ ass on the backend to make mountain biking more awesome, not more expensive. So far, so good! Operational updates have allowed us to reduce our costs, increase efficiencies, and bring CNC machining in-house - and we’re passing the savings onto riders! Framesets now start at $1,995 and complete full suspension builds are starting at $2,995. Where else can you get made in ‘Merica for under $3,000!?
